Melbourne Cup - Calcutta and Sweep Stakes
Join us at Taralga Sports Club on Sunday 1st November from 4pm for our annual Melbourne Cup Calcutta!
Tickets available now! $1 each or $20 per book.

150th Birthday of the Taralga Pub - Long Weekend activities
On Saturday the 3rd of October there will be a series of Yabby Races - bid as you like - races start 2:30pm and finish at 5:30pm. Half of the betting will be donated to ‘CanAssist’.
Sunday has the delightful offering of an Open Microphone event, coached by our local talent Logan. Come along and Karaoke the night away.

Friday 2 October we’re celebrating the Taralga Tigers’ 1986 Grand Final win with a footy reunion at Taralga Sports Club.
It’s a chance for past players, officials, supporters, family and friends to get together, catch up and reminisce about a great piece of Taralga sporting history.

Power Outage in parts of the Village
Essential Energy will be conducting various Electrical Network adjustments to the system in Taralga these hours and there will be zero electricity available. Those with a Battery connected to their property may well still have access to electricity; inverters only will most likely be turned off.

The Taralga Country Women’s Association (CWA) host a Tea and Talk event the first Tuesday of the Month.
Cake and sweet treats are made by the CWA members for the enjoyment of the attendees, whether you are a resident of the Village, a tourist taking a pit-stop or a farm worker needing a rest.
There is no charge, however donations accepted.
Come along to the Taralga Memorial Hall and have a chat, meet ol’ mates and introduce yourself to a few newbies.
