Exhibitors are encouraged to get involved, with Pavilion sections including cookery, flowers, fancywork, rich fruit cake, art and craft, photography, invigorated wool, jams and preserves, and more.
Saturday will feature meat sheep judging, poultry judging, yard dog trials, commercial and prime cattle judging, along with home brew judging. The official opening will be held on Saturday and led by Jill Chapman, President of AgShows NSW. Popular crowd favourites will return, including the sheep counting competition and the dog high jump, which this year includes a new novice class. Live entertainment on Saturday will be provided by Chalkie White, adding to the relaxed country atmosphere.
Sunday continues with stud cattle judging, show jumping, Merino sheep judging, quick shear, the Young Farmer Challenge, horse sporting events, and the poetry competition presentation, before the weekend concludes with the Grand Parade at 1pm — a celebration of exhibitors, competitors and 140 years of Taralga Show history.
The ever‑popular “Guess the Weight” competition will also return, with details revealed on the day.
