OUR ROAD TO 60

Before the big screens, the big stages and all the extras — there was this.

A bucking bull. A determined cowboy. A packed rail. And a crowd that came to see a great rodeo.

This black-and-white shot takes us right back to the early days of Taralga Rodeo, when the arena looked a little different — but the grit, courage and excitement were already there.

Every event tells a story. Every competitor brings their own.

As we count down to our 60th Anniversary in 2027, we’re looking back at the people, the rides and the moments that have become part of Taralga Rodeo history.

60 Years. Six Decades. One BIG Celebration.

Tough Boots. Strong Town. One Cracking Rodeo.
